How it works
You do the work. We are the company behind you.
1
LAND
You land the client and set your rate
Land the client, set the rate. Tell us the basics. A few questions, then a short call.

2
CONTRACT
We stand in as the company
Most clients don't take individuals. Ours does. We get onboarded, we fill out the forms, and you get to work.

3
INVOICE
You submit your hours to us, we invoice on your behalf
Every two weeks you tell us what you worked. We make the invoice and send it under our name. You never chase a client for money again.

4
PAID
You get paid through our company
Direct deposit every two weeks. Real payment statements. One tax form in January covering every job that year.

We cannot take high-risk physical trades, including construction and painting.
Straight answers
Is this a staffing agency?
No. You find the work, we are the company you invoice through. We do not source you, place you, mark you up or set your rate. View our terms and conditions for more information.
Can I work with more than one client?
Yes, as many as you like. Once you are set up, another client is another invoice and nothing else. No starting over, no new forms, and one tax form at year end covering all of them.
Am I an employee?
No. You stay a 1099 independent contractor. You set your rate, pick your clients, and there is no non-compete.
Why not just form my own LLC?
You can. Then the registering, the filings, paying yourself and chasing late clients are all yours. Our company carries general liability coverage. Professional liability, sometimes called errors and omissions, is yours to carry either way. What the fee buys is the billing, the money handling, the client forms and one tax form at year end. Whether that beats running it yourself is your call.
Do you bring me clients?
Not today, and we will not pretend otherwise. Passthrew is infrastructure. If work comes through our network you will hear about it, but it is not what you are paying for.
What paperwork does my client get?
Here are the words, once, so you know them if a client uses one. A W-9 is the tax form a business gives its clients so it can be paid. A certificate of insurance is the page that proves our general liability insurance is in force, and we send it when a client asks. That is general liability only, not professional liability, errors and omissions, or cyber coverage. A services agreement is the contract between their company and ours, if they want one. Vendor onboarding forms are whatever a client makes a new supplier fill in before it can pay, and we fill them in. At the end of the year you get one 1099, the form that reports what we paid you.
Where do you operate?
We are based in Georgia and our operating company is a Georgia company. You can apply from anywhere in the US. The 10% option is subject to approval, and where you and your client are located is part of what we look at. If your state changes what we can do, we will tell you before you start.
