What the form collects

The application form asks for your name, email address, mobile number, your city and state, the kind of work you do, and, if you have work lined up, the client name, a client contact email, your rate and your expected hours. How you heard about us and a note are optional.

If you provide a client name and client contact email, that is personal information about another person. We use it only to evaluate and set up your engagement and do not use it for marketing.

We use your mobile number to call you about your application. We do not send text messages.

When you apply, your application reaches us as an email. Three service providers handle this information for us: Vercel, which hosts this site and runs the form; Resend, which delivers the application email; and Google Workspace, which runs the Passthrew inbox that receives it. Google Analytics (Google LLC) measures visits to this site through Google Tag Manager; it does not receive your application. Meta Platforms, Inc., Google Ads (Google LLC) and LinkedIn (LinkedIn Corporation) measure, through Google Tag Manager, whether our ads lead to applications; none of them receives your application. We do not keep a separate applications database.

The application form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots; Cloudflare may process your IP address for that check.

The connection to this site is encrypted.

Why we use it

We use the information you submit to review your application, contact you about it, and, if an engagement moves forward, set it up. We do not use it for advertising.

What we never ask for

This site does not ask for or store your Social Security number, bank details, or government ID. If an engagement moves forward, those are collected inside the payment provider's own secure onboarding flow, which that provider runs and controls, and this site would hold only a status flag saying onboarding is complete.

Measurement and cookies

The site loads Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views. Google Analytics sets its own first-party cookies on this site to count visits; you can block them in your browser without affecting the application form. The Meta Pixel, Google Ads and the LinkedIn Insight Tag set their own cookies to tell us when a visit from one of our ads ends in an application; you can block those too without affecting the form. We set no other cookies.

Meta, Google and LinkedIn may use their cookies to collect information about your visits here and on other sites, to measure and target ads. This site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals. To opt out of ad targeting, use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out, Google My Ad Center or LinkedIn's ad opt-out.

How long we keep it

We keep the email copy of your application for 24 months after your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing us at the address below.
